The venue was designed in a club scene in England. It was named after the former president and COO of Trump Plaza who died in a helicopter crash (October 1989) named, Mark Grossinger Etess. The Arena opened to the general public on April 28, 1990, and underwent major renovations in the year 2017-18. The venue is under the ownership of Hard Rock Entertainment and is operated by the same. It has a seating capacity of 7,000 people. It is a multi-purpose arena that was initially built as a part of the Trump Taj Mahal.
